wall grey castle stone

An impregnable fortress
that remained unconquerable for ages
with a wall raised so high
that it touched the sky.
Nothing could ever do it harm
its wall embellished with blazing arrows
sent others fleeing, avoiding
as the arrows pierced deep
were in real harsh words
marking permanent wounds
and enough to shatter, even the strongest.
The impregnable fortress,
in reality,
a man’s heart of stone
lacking emotion and concern
which still remains unconquerable for ages
yet defeated.
