brown camel

Standing by the banks of the Nile
the Sirocco brings me
the scent of veiled women
drawing water from the nearby
oasis and the stories of
a thousand battles fought
and the distinct airs
of the Sphinx and
the sand dunes blowing mightily
breaking boulders and building
new sands and the works
of the ancient,
pyramids and more.
The Sirocco brings me
the essence of a thousand
cultures transcending
into one.
